William Brent is a climate solutions evangelist and entrepreneur, working to promote renewable energy and other cleantech solutions through his expertise in marketing and communications, brand, content, campaigns, and community engagement.
He is currently Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Husk Power Systems, the leading net-zero energy services company serving rural Africa and Asia, and operator of the largest fleet of community solar minigrids.
More recently, he was Chief Campaign Officer at Power for All, an international NGO working to end energy poverty. Prior to that, he was EVP and head of the cleantech practice at Weber Shandwick, an award-winning global marketing services agency part of NYSE: IPG.
He has also co-founded several media and content focused companies.
He began his career as a foreign correspondent and news editor in China.

He has worked for 14 years in the energy sector and specializes in solar, wind and battery storage project development.

After spending the first part of his career developing solar projects for agricultural exploitations in France, Alexis has developed numerous projects internationally, of varying sizes and types.
This allows him today to have a great expertise on solar projects in all their development phases.
Since 2018, Alexis has focused on the development of rural electrification projects in sub-Saharan Africa, and in particular led GDS International's mini-grid project in Benin from start to finish.
Equally committed to the sector, Alexis joined the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) in 2020 before becoming the organisation’s Vice President in 2021.

Cyril CARABOT is the Secretary General and International liaison officer of the French Renewable Energy Trade Association (SER), a professional organization gathering more than 450 companies, R&D centers, and Regional development agencies working to ensure a positive regulatory and legislative environment for the development of Renewable Energy in France.
Since 2012, the SER is also acting abroad to manage the export activities of the national RE sector, classified as a priority by the French government, to work with bilateral and multilateral international financial institutions, assist foreign government in their strategy to develop RE and to implement capacity building program.
Cyril CARABOT started his career as a project manager in GDF-Suez (former name of ENGIE) in the field of micro combined heat and power generation.
He then travel across the Atlantic to work for 2 years for the Canadian Wind Energy Association to lay the foundation of the Canadian Wind energy program.
After this international experience, Cyril worked for 10 years in France for a consultancy firm in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and innovation. He joined the SER in 2012.
Cyril hold a master degree in Energy Politics and Economy from the National Institute for Nuclear Science and Technics pertaining to the Atomic Energy Commission (INSTN/CEA) and an MBA in Finance from California State University of San Francisco.
